Neil Killeen, Tom May and Kevan Smith are not names that you would usually associate with the Spanish property market, in fact these names are more likely to be found on the back pages of the Newcastle Evening Chronicle. This may soon change however as the three sportsmen from the North East of England have recently set up their very own real estate company, VS Property, in Murcia in Spain.
Kevan Smith, the former captain of Darlington FC commented "We knew precisely what state the market was in before we kicked-off, and that means we can be totally realistic about when it comes to working out the best options for potential buyers."
Tom May, the Newcastle Falcons winger feels that property in Murcia has something to offer potential investors, "Murcia is nothing like the Spanish Costas. It is underdeveloped with miles of unspoilt white beaches".
